PSB appoints supply resources representative to VSPC
The Vermont Public Service Board has appointed Nathaniel Vandal of Green Peak Solar to serve on the Vermont System Planning Committee (VSPC) in the newly created “Supply Resources” seat. Mr. Vandal is a principal and co-founder of Green Peak, a Vermont based renewable energy development company. The Board also appointed Gabrielle Stebbins, executive director of Renewable Energy Vermont, as the alternate Supply Resources representative.
The new seat was created when the Public Service Board in November approved a settlement, called a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Docket 8073. The docket was opened by the Board to address a request from Renewable Energy Vermont (REV) for a seat on the Committee. The MOU was signed by all the parties in the docket: Green Mountain Power, the Public Service Department, VELCO, and the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation, reflected a position filed by the full VSPC in May. The new electric supply resource representative will join the two electric energy efficiency utilities to comprise the Supply & Demand Resources Sector.
